I don't mind admitting I wept this evening after the networks finally called the election for Biden. Yes, it wasn't the Blue Wave. Yes the Republicans may still control the Senate, and yes roughly half the country voted for Trump after having had four years of him. But the symbolism of getting him out cannot be overstated. Character matters. Doing the right thing matters. And doing the work matters. Twelve years ago I snipped the home pages when Obama won for the first time. Here's the clips for Biden and Harris.
